I always tell my clients, the best way to preserve your jewelry is to wear it!
Pearls in particular must remain in a humid and lighted environment. So safes are to be avoided.
Also, jewelry should not be in contact with creams and perfumes.
To clean them at the end of our hot days, you simply have to take a damp cloth and wipe them.
For your earrings, you can soak them in a small bowl of water with a mild soap.
